The North Wales Chronicle, 24 June 1899, reported the story of a mischievous Bangor lad who fell dramatically through the glass roof of the Penrhyn Hall.
This was reported in many other newspapers, including the Illustrated Police News which carried a full page illustration. By the end of July 1899, there were reports that all the injured were recovering well
